Kirsty has worked in financial services since 1985, in both corporate and private firms. Roles have included Pensions Administrator, Business Analyst, Actuarial Department Technical Assistant, Senior Team Leader of Pension Reviews for Equitable Life, Compliance Officer and more recently, Paraplanner.

For many years, Kirsty was involved in assessing the impact of mis-selling of pensions, endowments, and guaranteed annuity rates (GARs) then redressing clients where necessary. This involved recruiting and managing teams ensuring each project was delivered in accordance with the strict guidelines, on time and in budget.

Kirsty is part of the team responsible for analysing client’s pensions and investments, to enable the adviser to formulate a financial plan for their clients.

She is also involved in the continuing compliance monitoring, ensuring we adhere to the FCA’s principles. This includes maintaining relevant knowledge by attending numerous industry training events then implementing systems and procedures for all Caliber staff including ongoing training. Part of my role as compliance support is to maintain robust back-office records which continue to reflect Caliber’s commitment to their compliance responsibilities.
