Independent financial adviser in Bedford

Our office is in Ampthill, eight miles from Bedford town centre and about twenty minutes by road. You are welcome to come to us, or we can visit you at home instead.

Advice from the next town, not a call centre

Bedford has its own council, its own economy and its own housing market, none of which behave like Central Bedfordshire’s. That matters less for the advice itself than for the conversation around it. You are talking to someone who knows the area rather than someone reading it off a screen.

Pensions, including the ones you have half forgotten

Most people arrive with more than one pension and no clear picture of what they add up to. We will find them, tell you what each one actually does, and say plainly when an old scheme is better left where it is.

Retirement income that has to last

Deciding to stop working is the easy part. Working out what you can safely draw, in what order, and what happens if you live to ninety five is the part people put off. We will show you what each option looks like in income rather than in percentages, and review it as your circumstances change.

Passing it on

Estates reach the point where inheritance tax becomes a live question more often than people expect, and usually through the family home rather than through anything anyone deliberately saved. There is normally more room to act than you would think, and the options narrow with time, so an early conversation is worth more than a thorough one held too late.

The Financial Conduct Authority do not regulate tax planning or estate planning.

Coming to see us

The first meeting is free of charge and commits you to nothing. There is parking outside the office in Ampthill, and if getting here is awkward we will come to you.
