The Caliber Financial Management team standing outside the new office space in Ampthill

We’re moving! Read about this and more in your first update of 2025 from Caliber Financial Management

Spring has very much sprung here in Bedfordshire, with warm sunshine already having replaced the miserable rain we endured for weeks in winter.

As the first quarter of the year draws to a close, read about what’s been happening here at Caliber Financial Management, including details of our new office space, your Spring Statement summary that we’ll deliver on Wednesday 26 March, and the latest figures from our charity referral scheme.

We’re moving to a new office space in Ampthill

Some exciting news for us at Caliber this month as we’re moving to a new office space on 24 March 2025.

Having been in our Leighton Buzzard office on Grovebury Road for 20 years, it was time for a change of scenery and a new space that mirrors how our team and business have grown in the past two decades.

The new office is located in Ampthill, just a stone’s throw away from Leighton Buzzard, so your local firm of financial planners is still nearby and ready to serve you.

Our new address is:

First Floor, 5 Doolittle Yard

Ampthill

Bedfordshire

MK45 2NW

The new office at Doolittle Yard is one of seven offices housed in an impressive building, styled on the Georgian architecture you will find in the market town of Ampthill.

It’s the perfect space for welcoming you for your meetings and reviews with us, complete with open plan spaces, meeting rooms for plenty of privacy, and of course a kitchen so we can offer you a cup of tea or coffee when you come in.

Although we’re moving, nothing will change in regard to your usual annual meetings. You’re more than welcome to visit us at our new office, or we can meet you at home if it’s more convenient.

And, if you’re ever nearby Ampthill or the surrounding area, please do pop in and say hello!

You’ll receive our Spring Statement update on Wednesday 26 March

On Wednesday 26 March, chancellor Rachel Reeves will deliver her Spring Statement. In this announcement, the chancellor will outline the government’s fiscal plans and priorities for 2025 and beyond.

This is an important event, and the chancellor may well announce changes that could affect you either now or in future.

So, we’ll be sending out an update on the afternoon of 26 March summarising the key points from the Spring Statement.

Look out for this summary dropping into your inbox, and please do get in touch with us if you have any questions about what any of the announcements could mean for you and your wealth.

Your referrals mean we’ll donate another £950 to Myeloma UK

We’ve had a great start to the year for our charity referral scheme, as we’ve already received 19 referrals from you.

As you might already know, our founder, Roger Yates, sadly passed away in 2019 after being diagnosed with myeloma. So, we work closely with Myeloma UK, the only charity in the UK that focuses on the incurable blood cancer myeloma and its related condition.

Whenever you refer friends or family to us, we donate £50 to Myeloma UK. Having received 19 already this year, that means we’ll donate £950 to this worthy cause.

We received 59 referrals in total in 2024, and so these 19 put us well on the way to surpassing this figure and raising even more funds for this important charity.

So, if you know of anyone who would benefit from our services, then please do refer them to us. In doing so, you’ll both be helping someone you love to find a trustworthy financial planning firm, while also supporting a deserving organisation.
